About Us
Founded in 1958, the PTA Thrift Shop in La Habra, California, is a non-profit organization that benefits local schools and families.
The original concept was to provide a store where low-income families could clothe their children, and with the proceeds from sales, take care of emergency welfare needs of children in the community.
Our Programs
Over the years through donations and sales, the PTA Thrift Shop has been able to provide two programs for lower income families of La Habra Schools:

Scholarships
$500 awarded to various high school seniors in La Habra High School and Senora High School.

Food Drives
Thanksgiving and Christmas food drives and gift baskets given to local families in need.
Additionally, the shop has also donated funds from sales for school functions like Grad Nite.
